About us
Our destiny together was unlikely. A long chain of events set the gears in motion for our encounter.
Two lonely souls were separated by an ocean, 9.000 kilometers away: Miroslava "Miri" in Mérida, and Pierre "Pedrito" based in Berlin, were mutually introduced by their dearest relatives.
What started as a sincere and careful friendship, both rebuilding confidence and trust in their respective ways, turned into mutual guidance and then a beautiful romance.
He let her guide them through the streets and avenues of Mérida, to the beach in Progreso, to visit his first Cenotes, and on a road trip to the beautiful village of Izamal.
She let him guide them along the beaches of Oaxaca. In Puerto Escondido, Zicatela, Puerto Angel, and Zipolite, they forgot about the world and fell into each other's arms.
Just a year after their initial discussion in WhatsApp, right after celebrating Christmas 2024 together for the first time with her family in Mérida, he proposed.
This is where the administrative hurdles started. However, they fell unexpectedly in May.
On the first opportunity presented, June 20th 2025, they got married in her hometown of Mérida, México.
As of today, they are still determining how and where to spend the rest of their life together. But one thing is for certain: they want to marry in accordance with her religious faith, and in the presence of their families and dearest friends. It is our wish and a privilege to share these very special moments with you.
Venue
Destino Mío
For his 42nd birthday in 2024, she surprised him with a unique experience, near Tekit in Yucatán: a place called "Destino Mío."
Destino Mío is "an experience of mysticism and adventure in the heart of the Mayan jungle."
For us, it is a gorgeous retreat in nature, respectful of its environment, a condensed representation of what this part of Mexico has to offer.
We look forward to a beautiful time there for this occasion, with a whole range of possibilities at your own pace and appreciation.

- Swimming in the Cenote Emil
- Tour of three different Cenotes
- Relaxation at the Utopika spa

As documented in the venue section, the wedding will be celebrated in a remote location: Destino Mío, in Tekit, Yucatán.
A bus service will be provided from Mérida to the wedding ceremony and celebration, so that everyone can have a great time while remaining safe.
